The League of Arizona Cities and Towns has compiled a list of Model Ordinances, Implementation Guidance, and Miscellaneous Information specifically concerning housing in the State of Arizona.


The League of Arizona Cities and Towns is a membership organization comprising all 91 incorporated cities and towns in Arizona. The League is focused on providing high-quality services while maintaining reasonable dues, recognizing that dues serve as the major funding source for League activities.

The estimated shared revenues for each city and town for FY 2026 is set forth in this report. We obtained the total dollar amounts subject to distribution for each tax type from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT provides the numbers for VLT and HURF) and the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR provides the numbers for TPT and URS). Please recognize that most total distribution amounts are estimates, so they are subject to change.

The New Laws Report of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns is designed to guide those enactments of the second regular session of the 57th Arizona Legislature that have demonstrable impacts on municipalities. During each legislative session, numbers of bills, memorials and resolutions are introduced in the House and Senate. Of these, more than a hundred enactments affect cities and towns and are summarized in the Reports.
